It was a wonderful start to a new era of children's ministry in Northern Michigan! Thank you Pastor Rick and the congregation of Cross Pointe church for hosting us and arranging for lunch. The stats are posted below. Don't get too hung up on scores, though. Remember that every month of league quizzing is only for Fun, Fellowship, and learning Facts. All of the quizzers did well and deserve recognition.
Some notes...
- There is still time to join! The material for November covers the first third of the Fact-Pak, so there is plenty of time to get prepared.
- We will meet in Petoskey on November 14 (Saturday) and begin orientation right at 10 am. After that, we will continue to meet on the second Saturday of the month.
- Every month quizzers will be recognized for the accomplishments of the previous month. Besides the usual recognition (high score, quiz outs, etc...) we will also recognize most improved, first points ever scored, and anything else we can think up to encourage all the quizzers.
- Any church who has interested quizzers may quiz with an existing team in order to see what it is like and gain experience.
